Cars talking to Cars.... Soon

Who can imagine cars talking to each other? in 2012 it's reality with VANET technology (Vehicular Ad Hoc Networks) which depends on the mixing between cars and wireless connections.

Imagine that there will be a wireless connection between every moving object on the ground sعch as cars, bikes, trains and even airplanes.

You may still can't see a clear point of using this technology, so i will tell you to have a break and imagine with me if you are moving in such a road and suddenly you found an accident and the road is blocked and you are stuck between that situation.

Now how can VANET technology helps you in a such situation as an example. Once the accident happens if you are in a range of 1 Km away from the car that made the accident, the car that made the accident will send a signal to your cars and informs you by that accident in case you want to change your way so you don't got stuck.
